The Union of Computer Scientists of Cuba (UIC) convenes the III International Congress "Cibersociedad 2023" to be held on October 16-20, Havana, Cuba. Under the slogan "Digital Transformation: Global-local connection", Cibersociedad 2023 will be a space to expose the progress of the Cuban Digital Agenda within the framework of the Digital Transformation Policy, together with other similar experiences at the global level, with emphasis on Europe and Latin America and the Caribbean.
In line with the National Development Plan 2030, we expect to bring together the best practices and challenges related to Industry 4.0 within the framework of the Program for productive transformation and international insertion, with emphasis on new advances in industrial digital transformation technologies, highlighting the practices connected from the global to the local, and the new business models and organizational change required to develop the industry, as well as the incremental insertion in global value chains.
This third edition of Cibersociedad, also privileges Innovation for Digital Transformation, based on a favorable environment at the level of national and local innovation ecosystems, favored by the presence of innovation dynamizing entities, such as Science and Technology Parks, University Interface Companies and the CTI Foundation of the University of Havana, together with the emerging movement of new technological MSMEs and renewed state enterprises, as well as the consolidation of a value proposition provided by the UIC with the Network of (local) Innovation Laboratories for Digital Transformation.
With several years of consolidation, a growing visibility in more than 90 countries and registered in important international databases and indexes, the Cuban Journal of Digital Transformation (https://rctd.uic.cu)
will publish the best papers presented based on a peer review by renowned scientists on the topics of the event..
